Academy Goalkeeper Coach

Description

As a goalkeeper coach at the academy, you help to further develop the “Best in class” talent development of the club’s goalkeepers.

In close collaboration with team coaches and specialists, you will be responsible for running the individual goalkeeper training with the keepers, ensuring the keepers’ integration into the team training, as well as guiding the keeper during matches.

Key Responsibilities

Training & matches

• Contribute to the development and continuously improve an ambitious training environment for goalkeepers
• Plan and carry out training for the club’s academy keepers.
• Participate in matches both at home and abroad with the club’s academy team.
• Actively participate in the daily training planning together with the coaching team.

Individual development

• Prepare, implement and continuously update individual development plans for all the club’s goalkeepers.
• Provide ongoing individual feedback to the keepers so that they develop technically, tactically, physically and mentally. This through video analysis, performance data, etc.

Collaboration & integration

• Collaboration closely with the performance staff to align development plans across departments, including the physical and mental areas.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and coordination with goalkeeper coaches at the academy and the first team.
• Contribute to the further development of the club’s “Style of Goalkeeping” in line with FC Nordsjælland’s method and philosophy.

Minimum Requirements

We expect you to:

• Have solid experience with goalkeeper training from an elite academy or other high-performance environment.
• Have a strong understanding of long-term player development processes towards football at the highest level.
• Experience with analytics platforms such as Hudl Sportscode or similar is an advantage.
• Demonstrate high professional and ethical standards, including awareness of the protection of young people.
• Has great alignment with FC Nordsjælland’s and Right to Dream’s values and method.
