REMUNERATION:

Dependent on experience.

WORKING SCHEDULE:

Full Time (40 hours).

The role requires an individual who can perform such hours as necessary to complete their roles and responsibilities. The position will involve working irregular hours (e.g. Evenings/Weekends/Bank Holidays) based around team schedules.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyse both Swansea City AFC and opposition teams in accordance with club philosophy.
  • Film, code & database First Team training.
  • Produce training logs and best practice libraries for the analysis department, players and coaching staff to review.
  • Produce and manage data for individual development plans and session themes.
  • Producing individual meetings using training and match footage.
  • Supporting pre-match preparations, including producing squad reports, penalty analysis and opposition individual clips.
  • Film and/or live code during games according to club philosophy.
  • Individual post-match analysis, working closely with First Team coaching staff.
  • Assist with telestration of team/unit/individual meetings when required.
  • Aim to progress working methods within the analysis department.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • BSc degree in sports related course.
  • Experience using a camera to produce high quality footage.
  • Experience capturing video and coding, both live and pre/post-match.
  • Experience producing & dissecting pre & post-match reports.
  • Proficient using performance analysis software (HUDL SportsCode/Insights/Studio, Wyscout, Second Spectrum).
  • Proficient using Mac iOS and/or Windows operating systems & software including; Keynote, Numbers, iBooks, Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word).

DESIRABLE:

  • Experience of working within a first team football environment.
  • MSc in Performance Analysis or sports related course.
