Founded in 2015, Tekkers Football Academy is one of the leading youth football academies in the Gulf, delivering high-quality coaching to over 1,000 players each week across Bahrain and the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.

As an official partner of Arsenal Football Development, our programmes are built around world-class coaching principles, providing children aged 2-18 with a fun, challenging and inspiring environment to develop both as footballers and as individuals.

About the Position

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Football Coach to join our growing team in Bahrain or the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. Working within the Arsenal Football Development programme, you will deliver high-quality coaching sessions, inspire young players aged 3-17, and contribute to the continued growth of one of the region’s leading football academies. Job Details

This is a full-time coaching position based in either Bahrain or the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. You’ll work within a dynamic, fast-growing academy, delivering the Arsenal Football Development programme across weekly training sessions, camps, tournaments and special events. Alongside coaching, you’ll play an active role in the continued growth and success of the academy while working as part of an ambitious and supportive team.

Requirements

We’re looking for coaches who are passionate about developing young players, eager to continue learning, and committed to delivering an exceptional coaching experience.
The ideal candidate will combine strong football knowledge with excellent communication skills, professionalism and the ability to inspire children of all abilities in a positive, high-energy environment.

Key duties

As a Football Coach, you will:

• Deliver engaging, high-quality coaching sessions based on the Arsenal Football Development methodology.
• Coach players aged 3-17 across our development pathway, from beginner to advanced.
• Help develop our growing girls’ football programme.
• Support player development through term programmes, holiday camps, festivals and tournaments.
• Work closely with senior coaches to continue your own professional development.
• Assist with the day-to-day operations and organisation of the academy.
• Create a positive, safe and inspiring environment where every player can enjoy football and reach their potential.
• Represent Tekkers and Arsenal Football Development with professionalism both on and off the pitch.

Working Hours

• Sunday-Thursday: Primarily 2:00pm-7:00pm
• Saturday: 8:00am-12:00pm and 2:00pm-6:00pm
• Friday: Day off

Package

• 1-year rolling contract (with extension available by mutual agreement)
• 600-800 BD tax-free per month (approximately £1,200-£1,650), depending on experience

Essential Qualities

• Passion for developing young players.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Professional, reliable and enthusiastic.
• Ability to work as part of a team.

Desirable

• UEFA C Licence (or national equivalent, e.g. FA Level 2)
• Experience coaching youth football
• Full driving licence
