Overview

To be part of the Talent ID and recruitment team within CAA Base and to assist player agents (the “Agents”) where required in the day-to-day management of designated contracted players (the “Players”).

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• To attend football matches in Scotland across youth and senior age levels as may be assigned
• To report on new target players; target players and Players whether in-person at football matches or using video for recorded games
• To introduce new target players to the agency
• To be first point of contact with new target players and their families with a view to setting up meetings
• To attend meetings for target players and internal purposes as required
• To play a key role in the day-to-day care and management of existing Players in conjunction with the wider team
• Where required, to assist in the operational management and organization of fixtures, target players, Players and any other administration in relation to recruitment or retention
• To manage use of CAA Base app and ensuring information is up to date
• To maintain up to date client and club information

Desirable Requirements

• General understanding of the sports industry; relevant industry regulations and compliance issues
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Desire, work effort and innovation to help grow and develop the department
• Ability to prioritise workload
• Proven and demonstrable experience building relationships and dealing with sensitive situations with confidentiality and discretion
• Experience reporting on and/or recruiting professional footballers
