🚨 Join the Movement at Almaden FC – We’re Hiring Full-Time Coaches!

Are you passionate, intentional, and knowledgeable about developing elite youth players? Almaden FC is growing, and we’re looking for full-time coaches to help shape the future of the game through our Girls Academy program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Head Coach for two Girls Academy teams
  • Implement the AFC game model and player development methodology
  • Collaborate with the Girls Academy Director on seasonal training plans, pre-season camps, curriculum design, and competitive schedules
  • Act as a club ambassador within the regional and national soccer community
  • Communicate effectively with players, parents, and team managers—resolving questions or concerns professionally and promptly
  • Develop and manage depth charts for assigned age groups
  • Support the creation and implementation of Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for performance players
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure holistic development strategies align with AFC’s technical and tactical objectives

The Ideal Candidate

  • Holds a USSF B License (or international equivalent)
  • Has an undergraduate degree
  • Experience coaching at the youth, college, professional, or national level
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable using technology and platforms such as Google Suite, spreadsheets, databases, Hudl, and presentation tools
  • Capable of leading projects and running training clinics and sessions
  • Available to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Has reliable transportation
  • Thrives working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Additional qualifications or specialisations are a plus.
