The Club

Football Careers is really excited to be bringing to market the position of Head of ECNL via our clients NC Fusion in North Carolina, America. NC Fusion believes in its Core Values in Action. This position will report to the Head of Soccer Operations whilst at the same time collaborating with fellow program heads. Running a program which consists of both boys and girls teams, you will ensure alignment with the vision and mission of the organization.

The Position

The main duties of this position include but are not limited to:

• Work closely with NC Fusion Technical Director to ensure implementation of NC Fusion technical direction and style of play within the ECNL program
• Serve as the face and voice of NC Fusion’s ECNL at all pertinent events, both internally and externally
• Lead and develop staff to ensure adherence to the technical direction, core values, and culture within the club
• Drive standards and work ethic of staff whilst setting the best example of cultural leadership
• Ensure that coaches are delivering the product that the customer has purchased
• Manage logistics, operations, and communication for all ECNL programming
• Oversee feedback for players and coaches within the club’s systems
• Responsible for managing member concerns and delivering swift solutions
• Attend weekly meetings with the Soccer Leadership team
• Provide support to all ECNL NL players aged 13U to 19U
• Responsible for maximizing resources and fulfilling budgetary expectations
• Develop and maintain partnerships with other clubs and key stakeholders

The Person

You will be a vastly experienced coach with a strong knowledge of the players in ECNL. You will have a minimum of 10 years of coaching experience at elite level, and a minimum of five years of leadership experience within a youth club environment. A USSF “A” License or equivalent is mandatory.

You will have a growth mindset with the ability to lead yourself, lead others, and lead leaders. Adopting and carrying the vision of NC Fusion is essential, as is portraying the club in a positive light at all times. A warm culture with a positive environment already exists and you will be responsible for carrying and developing that further.
