About the club

FC “Abdysh-Ata” is one of the leading football clubs in the Kyrgyz Republic with many years of player development and performances at the highest level of the national level. Currently looking for an experienced CTO/Academy Methodology Director club to guide the development strategies of their youth academy.

Our academy includes:

• Approximately 300 academy players
• Approximately 20 full-time and freelance coaches
• Age groups from beginner to elite youth football.

A successful candidate plays a key role in creating a modern football development environment and introducing a unified playing philosophy throughout the academy.

Kant, Kyrgyz Republic

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall technical leadership of the academy.
• Develop and implement the club’s football philosophy and long-term player development model.
• Design and continuously improve the academy’s training methodology.
• Supervise, educate and evaluate approximately 20 academy coaches.
• Plan and conduct regular coach education sessions and workshops.
• Monitor and improve training quality across all age groups.
• Develop age-specific curricula and player development plans.
• Introduce modern coaching methodologies based on international best practices.
• Implement individual player development programs.
• Establish a structured player evaluation and performance monitoring system.
• Cooperate closely with the First Team coaching staff to ensure a clear pathway from academy to professional football.
• Prepare periodic reports and recommendations regarding academy performance and future development.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in building academy structures rather than only coaching one team.
• Open-minded and willing to implement modern football concepts.
• Highly organized with excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• UEFA A / UEFA Pro or AFC A / AFC Pro Coaching License.
• Significant experience working in professional football academies.
• Proven experience in coach education and methodology development.
• Experience managing coaching staff is considered a strong advantage.
• Strong understanding of long-term player development models.
• FIFA Technical Instructor / FIFA Educator certification or previous experience as a FIFA Instructor is considered a significant advantage.

Language Requirements

• Russian is the preferred working language.
• English-speaking candidates are also welcome.
• If required, the club will provide translation support to facilitate communication.

Employment Package

Evaluation Period

Before signing a long-term agreement, the club may invite the selected candidate for a one-week Academy Evaluation Visit. During this period, the candidate will:

• Assess the current academy structure.
• Observe training sessions and coaching methodology.
• Meet academy staff and club management.
• Present recommendations and a preliminary development strategy.

Following the evaluation, both parties will decide whether to proceed with a long-term collaboration.
