Christopher Harrington appointed Head Coach of FC Cincinnati U18s
- Harrington brings a wealth of experience, gained through roles in American, Danish, and Icelandic football
Football Careers is thrilled to announce that client Christopher Harrington has been appointed as Head Coach of MLS side FC Cincinnati’s Under-18s.
Harrington most recently worked with North Carolina FC, where he spent almost three years in roles such as IDP Coach, U16 Head Coach, U19 Head Coach, USL 2 Head Coach (U23 level) and Assistant Coach/Professional Transition Coach for the USL Championship first team.
Prior to this, Harrington held various positions across European and American clubs. These include a scouting and talent identification role with Danish side Hobro IK, First Team Head Coach of Icelandic outfit KR, and Head Coach of Memphis City, amongst others.
He also enjoyed a playing career that took him to Iceland with UMF Tindastóll and Hamar Hveragerdi, and Canada with Niagara United and London City.
Harrington’s commitment to coaching is clear in his wide-ranging licences and certifications. He holds a UEFA Pro Licence, UEFA A Youth Elite Licence, and FIFA Football Medical Diploma. He has also completed additional licences and certifications through PSV’s Coaching Academy, the NSCAA, and the Football Association of Ireland.
