- George Hamill has been appointed at Torquay United Women FC, Nathan Cranney has extended his stay at Hibiscus Coast AFC, and Tim Abramyan has joined Charlton Athletic Women's FC
George Hamill named Goalkeeper Coach at Torquay United Women FC
Hamill most recently worked with Exeter City Women as a Goalkeeper Coach for over four years.
He brings with him a wealth of coaching experience, having begun his career at Airdrieonians in Scotland in 2006. Hamill has also coached at Gretna, Falkirk, Yeovil Town, and Buckland Athletic, working across men’s, women’s, and academy football.
Torquay United manager Ryan Perks told club media:
“His knowledge and experience will be a valuable addition to our coaching team, and we look forward to the positive impact he will have on the development of our goalkeepers, as well as supporting the continued growth of our existing staff.”
Nathan Cranney extends his contract with Hibiscus Coast AFC
Cranney will continue as Men’s First Team Head Coach, having been in charge of Hibiscus Coast since the 2022/23 season. The club plays in the NRFL Championship in New Zealand and is based in the Whangaparaoa Peninsula.
Hibiscus Coast AFC commented in a club statement:
“Nathan has been part of the Coast coaching and leadership group for several seasons now, leading our men’s first team with consistency, integrity, and heart. He brings a rare mix of football intelligence, calm leadership, and genuine care for the people around him. What really stands out about Nathan is the culture he builds — backing his players, supporting other coaches, and setting high standards both on and off the pitch. He doesn’t just coach football; he develops people. We’re looking forward to another big season ahead under his guidance.”
Tim Abramyan joins Charlton Athletic Women’s FC
Abramyan joins The Addicks having previously served as Assistant Head Coach at London Bees. Associated with Barnet FC, the Bees are a women’s football team playing in the FA Women’s National League Division One South East.
Before this, Abramyan was the Reserve Team Manager for London Seaward FC, a women’s team based in East London. Earlier in his career, Abramyan coached at the Academy level with Chelsea FC and AFC Southgate.
With diverse experience in women’s football, Abramyan is sure to be an excellent asset to Charlton Athletic Women’s FC in his new role as Women’s PGA U21 Assistant Coach.
