Dominic Price named Technical Director of West Bromwich Albion

  • Price joins the EFL Championship club after three years in Israel with Maccabi Tel-Aviv

Football Careers is excited to see client Dominic Price appointed Technical Director of West Bromwich Albion FC. He joins the club after three years in Israel with Maccabi Tel-Aviv, where he was in the same role. 

Price’s role at the EFL Championship club will be to oversee analysis, medical, and sports science departments, as well as the Academy. Price will also develop strategies for squad planning, player pathways, football technology, and football administration.  

He began his coaching career at Liverpool FC, where he had previously played Academy football. Price first worked as a Coach for the International Football Academies before stepping into the role of Academy Coach, where he remained for six years. He then joined Blackpool FC as Head of Performance Analysis.

In 2022, Price returned to Anfield, this time as First Team Post-Match Analyst for legendary manager Jürgen Klopp.  

Now, he will take on a new challenge at Albion. Speaking to the club’s media, Price said:

“I am delighted to be here, and I am grateful to Shilen Patel and the club’s board for placing their trust in me. Together, we will focus on building strong foundations, driving standards, and supporting the continued development and progression of the club.  This club is steeped in history and tradition and with that heritage comes significant responsibility, which is certainly not lost on me. I fully understand the importance of this role and will carry it out with the long-term interests and success of the club as my absolute priority.”
