Mark Hudson joins Ipswich Town’s Coaching Staff
- Mark was most recently First Team Defensive Coach at Sheffield United
- He has over 500 appearances for a range of clubs including Crystal Palace and Cardiff City
Football Careers can announce that client Mark Hudson has been added to Ipswich Town’s coaching staff. The-now-Premier-League club have appointed Mark as Set-Play and First-Team Coach.
Mark brings a wealth of experience in both a playing and coaching capacity. His playing career began at Fulham with spells at Oldham, Crystal Palace, Charlton Athletic, Cardiff and Huddersfield Town – winning the Championship in 2012-13, the same year he was in the PFA Championship Team of the Year and Cardiff City Player of the Year. After his retirement he went into coaching at Huddersfield, managing their under-23’s side. He has also had spells as Interim Head Coach at Huddersfield and Cardiff, as well as being permanent manager of Cardiff from November 2022 until January 2023.
His most recent role was as First Team Defensive Coach at Sheffield United as they navigated Premier League football.
