- Mcclelland left his role as Head Coach at Dubai City FC to join FCB Magpies
Football Careers client Mason Mcclelland has joined Gibraltar Football League side FC Bruno’s Magpies as Assistant Head Coach.
Following Academy coaching roles at Accrington Stanley, Bury Town and Bolton Wanderers, largely focusing on the side’s U13 and U14 players, Mcclelland moved on to Fleetwood Town in 2016 to become their Youth Development Phase Manager and U18s Assistant Coach.
In August 2017, after a successful 18 months in Lancashire, Mcclelland made the move to Dubai where he became the Technical Manager of Dubai City FC. Then in 2019, he was appointed as the side’s First Team Head Coach, a position he held for five years until his departure in 2024.
Mcclelland has now taken up the role of Assistant Head Coach at FC Bruno’s Magpies alongside Head Coach Nathan Rooney. The Magpies finished their last campaign in third place and will be hoping Mcclelland’s appointment can take them to the next level of competing for the title.
Everyone here at Football Careers congratulates Mcclelland on his appointment and wishes him every success for the upcoming season.
