In the summer of 2026, Le Havre AC retained Football Careers to identify and recruit an experienced First Team Club Doctor to lead the club’s medical provision.
The successful candidate needed to have elite football experience, along with the appropriate medical qualifications and registration required to practise in France. They also had to speak French and English fluently, and be able to operate effectively in a high-performance environment.

Filipe is a highly qualified, multilingual doctor who specialises in sports and exercise medicine. He has more than a decade of experience in delivering high-quality medical care to athletes. Filipe has worked with leading football clubs in Saudi Arabia, and also served as National Teams Doctor for the Portuguese Football Federation and the UAE Football Association.
