Job Title:

Duration:

June 2024 to May 2025 (with option to extend for one more year)

Salary:

$2,200 per month (net), with a $500 housing allowance, plus a $30 win bonus per game

Overview:

As the Head of Analyst Department for Svay Rieng Football Club, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive analysis and strategic insights to enhance the team’s performance. This position requires a deep understanding of opponent analysis, team game analysis, and training session analysis, along with the ability to collaborate closely with the coaching staff to integrate findings into training sessions and match strategies. Additionally, you will be involved in the recruitment process to identify potential positions to strengthen the team’s roster.

Key Responsibilities:

Opponent Analysis:

• Conduct thorough analysis of upcoming opponents, including their playing style, key players, strengths, and weaknesses.
• Provide detailed reports to the coaching staff to develop effective game plans and strategies.

Team Game Analysis:

• Collaborate closely with the assistant coach to analyze team performance during matches.
• Utilize software such as Hudl and Sportscode to break down gameplay and identify areas for improvement.

Team Training Analysis:

• Work in conjunction with the assistant coach to analyze team training sessions.
• Evaluate player performance, tactical drills, and overall effectiveness of training methods.

Assistant Coach in Training Sessions:

• Assist the coaching staff during training sessions, providing input based on analytical insights.
• Help implement drills and exercises tailored to address specific performance areas identified through analysis.

Recruitment of Potential Positions:

• Participate in the recruitment process to identify talented players for potential positions within the team.
• Scout and evaluate potential recruits using tools such as Wyscout and other scouting networks.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Science, Statistics, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in football analysis and coaching at a professional level.
• Proficiency in analytical software such as Hudl, Sportscode, and Wyscout.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with coaching staff and players.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving strategies and tactics.
• Fluency in English required; knowledge of Khmer or other languages is a plus.
