António Magalhães Kicks Off 2023 with his First Full-Time Role in Football
- António joins Birmingham City Women's FC in the role of First Team Analyst
- The UEFA A Licence holder has a Master's degree in Football Coaching and Performance Analysis from Buckinghamshire New University
António Magalhães has started 2023 in the best possible fashion by winning his first full-time role in the game as First Team Analyst at Birmingham City Women’s FC.
The Football Careers client, a UEFA A Licence holder, has a Masters in Football Coaching and Performance Analysis from Buckinghamshire New University.
He was previously Head of Performance Analysis and Under-16s Head Coach at Welsh League club Airbus UK.
Now he has switched to be a key part of Darren Carter’s coaching team at English Women’s Super League 2 side Birmingham. António admitted:
“I’m just very excited and thrilled to be starting my first full-time role in the game.”
This is a huge craved for step for so many dedicated coaches in the game and Magalhães moves to an ambitious club who lie fifth in WSL 2 but are just five points off leaders London City with a game in hand.
The Blues are also into the fourth round of the FA Cup and face a mouth-watering tie against Super League Everton to test where they are in their journey of progress.
António – who took his coach education on the highly-respected Welsh FA pathway – will now be at the heart of that adventure.
