Juan José Jiménez Barroca Celebrates Europa League Win with Sevilla

- Sevilla triumphed over Roma on penalties to seal their seventh Europa League title
Juan José Jiménez Barroca soaked up a night of history as part of the Sevilla backroom team as the La Liga side took on Roma to win a record seventh Europa League on 31st May.
Respected sports medicine doctor and Football Careers client Juan was in the Puskas Stadium in Budapest amidst all the drama as José Luis Mendilibar’s team bravely fought back from going behind to a Final opener from Roma’s Paulo Dybala.
José Mourinho’s Serie A stars were hauled level by Gianluca Mancini’s own goal and the Spaniards went on to cruise the penalty shootout 4-1, wrapping up ownership of silverware that has now become synonymous with their club.
Juan was thrilled to be a part of it all again and he said:

Barocca is currently working as a consultant with Sevilla. The sports medicine expert was
formerly Head of Medical Staff at Guizhou Henfeng Zicheng and Shangai Greenland Shenhua in China.
Juan’s work with the Europa League holders sees him directly diagnose and treat players from the academy to first team level. He focuses on injury prevention and innovative rehabilitation techniques to return Sevilla’s players to the field in peak condition after spells on the sidelines.
